Nimans’ resellers went back to the classroom to learn how Panasonic’s new SIP-based UC comms solution, the NS1000, can lead them into a new era of sales success.
One dealer made a 550-mile round trip from Southampton to attend the day-long training course at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters - that helped plug any gaps in reseller knowledge - as Panasonic’s powerful communication system took centre stage.
Core system features and benefits, network capabilities, mobility options, UC applications, product positioning and configuration skills formed part of the in-depth learning programme.
Many of the attendees admitted beforehand that they had limited knowledge of IP and SIP based technologies. A Scarborough-based reseller remarked: “I’ve been selling Panasonic since 1987, accumulating over £1.5 million worth of business, but to be honest I don’t understand SIP. Most of my customers are at the smaller end of the market and they still use a phone system just to say ‘hello’. But sooner or later someone will want to move on and I want to be able to help them move forward. The course was invaluable in quenching my thirst for knowledge. I now have much more confidence and desire to succeed.”

One Southampton-based reseller who left home at 4.45am, said the course was “worth every mile.” He explained: “I come from an engineering background and believe that connectivity issues are often the biggest hurdles with SIP, rather than the actual systems themselves. It was great to get a new perspective on how to move forward. Nimans and Panasonic are ideally placed to help us get the most out of these evolving market opportunities. I am very excited by the potential as workplace trends continue to change.”
