Race Challenge Gets Into Gear

Posted on 18/05/2012

Regional heats are off and running as high performing Nimans and Mills customers rev up for glory to win the ultimate driving day out.

As official Fusion data installation product distributors, Nimans and Mills have teamed up to launch a nationwide go-karting challenge that runs until October.

Six regional heats for Formula Fusion 2012 see dealers and data installers reach speeds of up to 80mph, sitting barely an inch above the ground. The top four drivers from each session progress to a Grand Final Grand Prix at Whilton Mills in Northamptonshire on October 12th, when the industry’s fastest driver will be crowned.

The winner will enjoy a spectacular supercar PalmerSport driving day, putting some of the fastest cars on the planet through their paces at Bedford Autodrome.

The first heat took place at Thruxton (Hants) in April and attracted 20 customers who were eager to show off their driving skills in some testing weather conditions. Forthcoming events include: Three Sisters at Wigan on Friday 29th June and Teesside Karting (Middlesbrough) on Friday 20th July.

Nimans’ Dealer Sales Director, Tom Maxwell, confirmed: “With one extra regional qualifier and two new circuits on the calendar this year, drivers have the chance to test their driving skills on some of the most prestigious outdoor kart circuits in the UK. There’s sure to be plenty of thrills and spills!”

It’s free to register at www.fusiondatacom.com but places are strictly limited.
