Driving Technology Adoption.
Joe Casari, Head of Yealink UK Talks-Up The Benefits Of Collaboration……
The way we communicate continues to evolve both in and out of the office with greater levels of collaboration set to continue throughout 2019 and beyond.
According to a Frost & Sullivan report, only 4.2% of meeting rooms today are equipped for video conferencing, while more than 95% of the meeting rooms rely on audio only.
Users are demanding more engaging communications which is creating strong growth opportunities for video conferencing adoption. The video conferencing penetration rate is forecast to reach 11.5% by 2020.
An industry-wide survey conducted by Nimans makes for some interesting reading too and highlights the growing role of Microsoft in the communications arena based on its Office 365, Skype For Business and new Teams platforms.
Yealink are the first manufacturer in the market to develop Microsoft Teams functionality into their IP devices. Already having Skype for Business functionality in place, Yealink are introducing desk and conference voice solutions, compatible with Microsoft Teams.
Yealink has a vision, that by working together with Microsoft they are able to bring intelligent communication solutions to the marketplace.
Nimans recently targeted thousands of customers to gauge their views on the video conferencing and end point markets. Legal, healthcare, banking and finance and manufacturing and engineering were the top sectors respondents felt were best suited to this type of technology.
Office 365 proved the most popular Microsoft solution, with Zoom coming out on top as their preferred third party cloud solution.
There’s clearly huge market potential available for meeting room collaboration with a fairly level spread of audio conferencing, video systems and IP end points currently being embraced, according to the survey.
Yealink scored highly for its price, high performance and advanced features and with innovations products such as the VC200 entry level smart video conferencing end point, 2019 is set to be our biggest and best year ever.
The key to driving technology adoption is choosing the right device. Join us on the journey.
