Hardware v Software
Posted on 22/02/2019
John Mckindland, Head of Solution Sales at Nimans, says hardware-based sales, such as printers, laptops and devices, face a continued challenge in today’s cloud-based world.
“I think it’s definitely becoming harder to sell this type of hardware in a software-driven world.
Nimans is more of an influencer in this market because of the type of software that we sell. That could be CTI, call management or call recording for example.
“I think another area of concern is how quickly hardware can become redundant compared to software-based solutions that can easily be updated and expanded.
“The key to success is blending both sides of your product range to provide the widest choice to your customers.”
There’s more to Nimans than you think.
