iQ PBX Dealer Day Success
Posted on 05/10/2012
Dealers turned out in force to discover more about the launch of a new name in the IP PBX arena. Nimans threw open its doors to the reseller community after becoming the exclusive UK distributor of the innovative iQ PBX solution – arising from a strategic business alliance with international manufacturer Yeastar.
Available in three distinctive versions, the iQ PBX platform is designed for the sub 25, 60 and up to 200 user markets - combining sophisticated feature-rich functionality with cost effective performance – including Microsoft Lync integration as part of an all-in-one solution.
Dealers hailed the event a resounding success and were ‘very impressed’ by the feature-rich technology that’s easy to configure and straightforward to implement and support.
A Midlands-based dealer remarked afterwards: “I’ve been researching IP systems for a long time. I’ve looked at others and not been too happy as they can be complicated and expensive. From what I’ve seen of this it’s a very easy avenue; almost too easy as anyone can do it! My instincts are to take one into the workshop and get really familiar with it. From past experience if you know something inside out it’s even easier to sell. With the iQ PBX you can be up and running within a few hours. Today has been a brilliant experience, I’ve exactly what I wanted to discover.”
The enthusiastic feedback was echoed by a Lancashire-based dealer who is new to the IP arena. “I want to move my existing customer base to IP without them finding it over complicated,” he explained. “The iQ PBX represents a major step forward. I’ve looked at other systems but there’s just too much time involved especially with smaller clients which doesn’t make it cost effective. This new system provides a very compelling solution, especially the flexibility of the features. It’s very easy to understand and sell. All-in-one, out of the box, everything is there ready to go. I can explain all the features in a non technical fashion and customers will be impressed by what’s in such a small box and what it can do. That’s the biggest benefit. It’s very easy to configure and we expect to sell many of these units.”
The entry level iQ PBX 250 is aimed at smaller organisations and boasts impressive features such as a built-in music on hold player, conference calling, voicemail to email and one-touch conversation recording capabilities. The iQ PBX 600 shares many similarities with the 250 - providing dial by name and three-way call facilities, including video. In addition the unit has an optional GSM gateway for mobile calls. The flagship iQ PBX 2000 offers a host of high-end ‘out-of-the-box’ features including support for 30 channels of ISDN30, 60 SIP trunks and a massive 300 IP endpoints.
The event was summed-up by aManchesterreseller who said: “So far it looks very good, especially from an engineering point of view. I am very impressed. It’s simple, easy to understand and feature-packed. What more could you ask for. IQ PBX ticks all the boxes.”
RRP prices (ex VAT) start from £500 (250 model), £850 for the mid range 600 and £2,900 for the top-of-the-range 2000 version.
