Jabra Is Number One

It’s been a year of spectacular success for Jabra, who are now the UK and Ireland’s number one headset and speakerphone manufacturer - inspired by key distributor Nimans – with 2020 set to be even bigger and better.

The duo has formed a powerful alliance and are set to attack the market in a three-pronged approach over the next 12 months, based on new, enhanced and existing technologies.

Nimans was recently crowned Jabra’s Distributor of the Year at the Jabra UK&I Partner Conference and hosted a winter wonderland party as it’s Manchester headquarters to celebrate a year of sales success, where overall demand has risen by around 50%.
A bratwurst sausage stall, alcohol-free mulled wine, computer ski game contest and hot chocolate machine were provided by Jabra as a thank you to staff for their efforts.

Nigel Dunn, Jabra Managing Director (EMEA North), says 2019 was a year to remember and the next 12 months will be even more special for the company, Nimans and its resellers.

“The thing we’ve always admired most about Nimans is we’ve always had a simple plan to work together, but plans are plans and execution is key. We can rely on the Nimans team to execute them as well as we would do ourselves. There’s a real synergy. Everybody is always accessible, from the senior executives to the passionate people driving the engine on the sales floor.

Secondly, we see video as being absolutely integral and part of that - with our PanaCast video collaboration 180 degree field of view device leading the way. On top of that there’s the new world of the digital contact centre, transforming from old technology into new and we can help that transition with the Engage 50, the first fully digital headset. In addition, any new product developments in 2020 and beyond will provide a massive opportunity for us, Nimans and most importantly the reseller community. We really value their support and the very exciting times that lay ahead.”
