The first Nimans Live goes off with a bang

Nimans Live was the first event of its kind hosted at Nimans HQ in Manchester. Nimans Live brought together leading video & audio-conferencing device manufacturers AudioCodes, Jabra, EPOS, Yealink, Neat, and networking provider, TP-Link to showcase their newest offerings specifically designed for Microsoft Teams integration. The presentations from the day highlighted the growing importance of high-quality video conferencing solutions within the Teams ecosystem.

The showcased solutions addressed a range of needs, with options suitable for various meeting room sizes and functionalities. Whether you manage a small huddle room or a large conference hall, these companies appear to be offering solutions to optimise your Microsoft Teams video conferencing experience.

Having the many options demoed on the day allowed attendees to compare features to find the most suitable solution for their customer’s meeting spaces.

The keynote was delivered by Nicky Chapman, UK DPS Lead, Microsoft Teams Rooms & Devices. Nicky focused on driving the adoption of smart workplaces and enhancing the hybrid work experience and driving the worth it equation to return to the office. Nicky spoke Microsoft’s commitment to helping organisations achieve their full potential through the use of their cutting-edge technology.

AudioCodes discussed the addressable market, current market share, and the opportunities across their portfolio. With software options for compliance recording, contact centre solutions, IVR functionality, and meeting insights, along with their complete range of video devices, they have solutions for businesses of all types and sizes. 

Jabra’s main focus was around their PanaCast range for small and medium-sized meeting rooms and intelligent experiences with the usage of advanced software enhancements including, room transcripts, intelligent zoom, room and speaker tracking, people counting for real-time room usage, and intelligent whiteboard. 

Neat were very much focused on the simplicity of their range of video solutions, whilst being packed full of powerful features and AI audio enhancements. neat.pulse was a key discussion point, a control suite which provides management of all neat devices, access to support, and add-on apps. 

Along with video, audio is just as important for an equitable Teams experience, this was where EPOS placed their focus for the day. The EPOS BrainAdapt technology is their innovative solution to help improve cognitive performance, helping users of their audio devices stay focused longer, improved concentration, and reduce stress and listening fatigue. 

Yealink impressed on the day with their complete Teams end-to-end solutions covering hybrid working, the office space, and the meeting room environment. AI features were discussed across the board with each vendor, Yealink being no exception. Yealink have an impressive selection of AI features and are committed to continue development in this area.
