A word from...

Keith Judson: Sales Manager

In our first edition of Connection Matters, we introduced you to our Customer Service Team. This time, let’s meet Keith Judson; Sales Manager:

I've been in the telecoms industry for 30 years (man and boy!), starting out as a Telecoms Manager, programming Avaya PBXs, before moving into various sales and account management roles. For the past 20 years, I've been leading sales teams, working closely with partners and customers across the industry. At Nimans Connect, we're passionate about working in partnership with our customers. Our aim is simple: to provide expert advice and the right solutions to help you grow your business with confidence.

Our Connect team looks after Mobile, Connectivity, SIP, Hosted Services and Billing.

In the field, Brad Bowles covers the North, while Paul Scott looks after the South. Supporting them from the office are Sam O'Shea, Martin Tector, Richard Metcalfe and Simon Hughes, who provide dedicated account management.'

Get ready for the WLR Switch-Off

The official WLR switch off date was 31st January 2026. With Openreach introducing significant price increases throughout 2026 and the switch off date just around the corner, now is the time to move any remaining end customers.

We’re here to support your move to All IP. Find out how we can help here.

Update your SIM stock

As we move out-of-contract O2 and Vodafone connections to our new Mobile Management Portal, it’s important to make sure you have compatible SIM cards. Older SIMs can still be used for SIM swaps on in-contract connections, but for new connections, please order new SIMs through the portal in the usual way.

eSIMs are also now available across all three networks, so they’re a great option for compatible handsets.

Connect Pro Billing / Bureau Billing Rate Cards

Let’s keep your sell rates working for you.

Keeping your sell rates up to date helps us make sure your customers are billed correctly and keeps new orders moving smoothly.

As new products launch and pricing changes, it’s worth revisiting your rate cards. You can find blank versions for all our products in the Pricing folder on the portal.

 From there:

  • Pick the relevant Connect Pro Billing / Bureau Billing rate card.
  • Add the sell rates that work for your business and send them to your Dedicated Account Manager.

 The choice is yours

 There’s plenty of flexibility.

  • You can update rates for all customers
  • use new rates for new customers going forward,
  • and override your headline rates on individual orders.

Whatever works for you, we’ll work with you to find the right approach.

A heads-up for January 2027

If we don’t have an updated product rate card when an order comes through, we’ll use a standard 20% uplift as the sell rate. This means we can keep your order moving while making sure margin is included.

And finally, don’t forget to review your customers’ invoices during each Bill Run. We’ll email you when they’re ready to review, and if those emails aren’t reaching you, your Account Manager can help get your details updated.

Coming Up Next

Our next edition of Connection Matters will arrive a little earlier than usual, in December, before we head into the festive season and the familiar Festive Freeze.

Keep an eye out during November and early December for more information to help you plan ahead.

A helping hand with WLR migration
If you’re working through your WLR migrations, our Hosted and SIP Porting promotions are there to help support the move.

Planning ports for December? Getting your orders to us ahead of the Festive Freeze will help keep everything on track and make sure you benefit from the promotional pricing. Your Account Manager is on hand to help with your porting plans, so please get in touch if you’d like to talk through your requirements.
