New firmware update making Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms hybrid meeting experiences even better
As part of Jabra’s ongoing program to continuously add value to their PanaCast 50 portfolio through Value Pack firmware updates, they recently announced new functionality for PanaCast 50 VBS for Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
Available now, the Value Pack 1.1 firmware update for the PanaCast 50 VBS offers: Dynamic Composition 2.0, Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery, and Enhanced noise suppression.
Your end-customers can update their PanaCast 50 VBS firmware now to make the most of these new features. New firmware functionality
Dynamic Composition 2.0
This experience includes a close-up view of the most recent speakers in a meeting room, along with a 180-degree panoramic view of the room in Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. By focusing on the most recent speakers and providing a room view for context, all attendees enjoy a more natural, inclusive meeting experience and everyone remains part of the conversation.

Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery
This innovative feature uses AI to quickly detect people in the meeting room, which enables the firmware to instantly provide online participants with 6 video streams in their Zoom meeting, one stream showing a panoramic view of the meeting room, and 5 video streams showing closeups of the people in the meeting room (the 5 streams are reserved for showing up to 20 people by “splitting” the streams into several tiles per stream), leading to a more immersive and engaging meeting experience.
Enhanced noise suppression
Always great but now even better, Jabra’s VBS noise suppression cancels more noise than ever before to optimize the meeting experience and makes it possible to upgrade non-traditional meeting spaces - like open spaces and rooms with glass walls – into fully-fledged meeting rooms.
