Paul Peters on Why the EPOS IMPACT 400 ANC Stands Out
By Paul Peters, EPOS Product Manager at Nimans
As someone who speaks to resellers every day, one thing has become very clear: users expect far more from their headsets than they did a few years ago.
Calls are no longer confined to quiet desk spaces. People are moving between offices, shared environments, meeting rooms and focused workspaces throughout the day - and they need technology that can keep up.
That’s why the new EPOS IMPACT 400 ANC has genuinely impressed me.
What stands out is how many premium features EPOS has brought into a wired headset. Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, AI-powered four-microphone voice pickup, and Microsoft Teams Open Office certification are all features we’d normally associate with higher-end wireless models.
For resellers, that creates a really compelling proposition.
The IMPACT 400 ANC delivers a professional experience for users who spend much of their day in calls and meetings, while still offering the simplicity and reliability many organisations prefer from wired devices.
The Microsoft Teams Open Office certification is particularly important. In busy working environments, poor microphone performance quickly becomes frustrating for both the user and everyone else on the call. EPOS has addressed that brilliantly here, with excellent voice clarity and impressive background noise suppression.
Combined with the lightweight design and all-day comfort, this is a headset I can confidently recommend across a wide range of customer environments.
At Nimans, we’re always looking at products through the lens of what resellers are actually being asked for - and the IMPACT 400 ANC absolutely delivers on that.
