A team from Nimans, led by Richard Bovingdon and supported by EPOS and AudioCodes, braved challenging weather conditions to conquer the gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge and went on to raise over £4,360 for Stockport County Community Trust.

The adventurous team battled 70 kph winds and torrential rain throughout their 24-mile trek, which involved ascending over 5,400 feet. Despite the adversity, they completed the challenge in an impressive 11 hours and 22 minutes.

"I was so impressed with everyone's resolve in what were just brutal conditions," said Richard Bovingdon. "The team stuck together, encouraging each other, and we really did have to dig in deep."

The funds raised will go directly to Stockport County Community Trust, a charity affiliated with Stockport County FC. They use the power of sport to deliver programs that promote healthy living and positive change in the Stockport and surrounding areas. A vital organisation making a significant difference within the local community.

David Wardle of the trust added, “We’re so grateful to Nimans for their ongoing support. Not only did they pull together a fantastic team for this fundraising challenge, some of their staff members are also volunteering at our Social Wellbeing group at Edgeley Park. It’s a pleasure to link up with such a community-spirited business.”

"The monies raised are going to such a worthy cause," remarked Bovingdon.  “It was great to present David Wardle and Daniel Landstrom of Stockport County Community Trust with a cheque for £4,360, raised by a team."
