The JPL Commander is Premium, yet affordable Quick Disconnect headset available in both monaural (Commander PM) and binaural (Commander PB) wearing styles. The Commander’s superb microphone includes JPL’s Surround Shield™ noise cancelling technology, this results in a ‘dramatic’ reduction in background noise being transmitted. Lightweight, fully adjustable, comfortable and completely wearable for 8 hours plus. The microphone boom arm is flexible for precise positioning (perfect position is ‘two finger’ widths from the mouth). The Commander PB is a true audio telephony headset, which means that it features hybrid speakers that allow the user to play true stereo audio when they listen to music; and switch to mono stereo for speech.
